For over 15 years, Carla M. Shreve has been involved with many
aspects of dogs. In 2000 at the age of 16, she acquired her first
Alaskan Malamute, Kayla and with that her career in show dogs
began. She has prepared and handled multiple breeds of dogs in
the competitive show ring, acquiring championships along the
way. She has worked as a professional groomer, veterinary
technician, boarding kennel operator and has trained multiple
dogs on a competitive obedience level, as well as acquiring CGC
(Canine Good Citizen) certificates on her personal dogs. Along
with her husband, Zach and 2 sons, Storm & Lincoln, the family
breeds, trains, works and shows Alaskan Malamutes. They
currently own 3 Malamutes, Verizon, Lucy and Tanta, 2 cats,
Hazel and Brew and a French Lop rabbit named Peppa. Carla is
a member of McKinley Kennel Club and is working toward
becoming a PHA and DHG member and AKC registered handler.
